Raja de Casablanca has parted ways with Faouzi Benzarti. After several negotiations and speculations, the club and its president Aziz El Badraoui formalized the divorce. The successor of the now former coach of the Greens would be known.
His departure was in tune with the times, predictable and altogether logical. Faouzi Benzarti officially left Raja Casablanca, which he joined during the summer transfer window, after a very disappointing record in Botola Pro D1 Inwi (two points: two draws at home and one defeat away).
A long meeting held this Wednesday, September 21, between the boss of the Greens, Aziz El Badraoui, and the “dean of coaches” resulted in an amicable separation between the two parties.
While yesterday, beIN Sport announced the departure of Benzarti, even giving the name of his future successor, the media were lost in conjecture, given the lack of adequate communication from the Greens.
The next coach of the Greens should be the Tunisian, Mondher Kebaier (52), former coach of the Eagles of Carthage.
If Kebaier’s arrival is confirmed, he will then be the club’s third coach under the Aziz El Badraoui era, after Rachid Taoussi and Faouzi Benzarti.
