The head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, today participated in the celebration of Morocco’s national day at Expo 2020 in Dubai. During his visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mr. Akhannouch was received by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan.
During this meeting, which also saw the presence of the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nasser Bourita, Mr. Akhannouch conveyed the greetings of King Mohammed VI to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyane, President of the UAE, as well as to Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two sides also discussed “strong fraternal relations” between their two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in all fields, including investment and trade.
Expo 2020 Dubai has prepared a series of programs to celebrate Moroccan culture, including a live music event at Wasl Plaza, the center of the expo. The event will not only serve as a symposium to highlight Moroccan culture, but it will also be a reference to illustrate the attractiveness of the North African country as a privileged destination for investments in many fields, in particular the commerce, tourism and technology.
