Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, Chelsea midfielder, has expressed his happiness to find the arms of the Atlas Lions in view of facing Chile and Paraguay as part of the preparations for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Hakim Ziyech has confirmed on the Royal Moroccan Football Federation website that he is happy to be in the Moroccan national team again, indicating that he is ready to wear the Lions jersey again.
The Chelsea star explained: “We have two important matches against Chile and Paraguay, before entering the Qatar 2022 World Cup, in order to keep ourselves at the level of the players, in the presence of a new coach with new new ideas.”
Hakim Ziyech said in a press release that he was happy to return to the Moroccan national team, having previously encountered some difficulties with former national voter Vahid Halilhodzic.
Ziyech said: “Two important matches are ahead of us, because they are the last stage of our preparations for the World Cup, and the most important thing in such matches is where we are in our preparations, especially with the presence of a new coach and coaching staff as well as new ideas.”
It should be noted that the Moroccan national team will play two friendly matches against the Chilean and Paraguayan teams, respectively, on September 23 and 27, 2022, as part of the preparations for the Qatar 22 World Cup.
