The Egyptian club, Pyramids FC, announced on Thursday that it had reached an agreement with AS FAR for the transfer of the Moroccan ally, Mohamed Chibi.
“From Rabat to Cairo… Mohamed Chibi to Pyramids FC”, writes the former team “Al Assiouty Sport” on its Facebook page, without giving more details on the duration of the contract, nor on the amount of the transfer. The 29-year-old had played 55 games with the Military. He had scored three goals and delivered 13 assists.
At Pyramids FC, he will play alongside his compatriot Walid El Karti, who arrived at the Egyptian club last summer from Wydad Casablanca.
Mohamed Chibi spent his youth in the lower tiers of the Morocco squad, before making his debut for the home side’s national team under Houcine Ammouta, taking part in the Arab Nations Cup in 2021. He made his first-team debut of Morocco under Vahid Halilhodžić in 2021, taking part in the 2021 African Cup.
