Moulay Rachid signs the book of condolences, H24info

Prince Moulay Rachid, who represented Morocco at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, signed the book of condolences at Church House in London on Monday.

Prince Moulay Rachid represented King Mohammed VI at the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday, which took place at Westminster Abbey in London.

After the funeral ceremony, the prince, together with the guests present, went to Church House to take part in a reception hosted by the British Foreign Secretary.

King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and compassion to King Charles III, following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, on September 8.

The sovereign had expressed to all the members of the royal family and to the British people, his sincere condolences and his deep sympathy.

The kingdom has lost a “special great friend who was deeply respected”, underlined King Mohammed VI, in his message, adding that the queen “is particularly keen to strengthen the long-standing friendship between our two secular monarchies”.
