In order to explain to public opinion the real reasons for the postponement of the match between AS FAR and Raja Club Athletic (RCA) counting for the 14th day of Botola Pro 1 Inwi initially scheduled for Monday December 27, 201, the National League of Professional Football (LNFP) announces that this postponement comes following the ban by the competent authorities in the RCA (players and technical and administrative staff) to leave the place of residence and confinement after their return from Qatar.
However, RCA has expressed its willingness to play the match despite the non-training schedule. In order to protect the health of citizens against the spread of the new variant of COVID-19, the competent authorities refused to authorize the programming of this meeting, especially after the positive tests of the Omicron variant carried out on the RCA recently.
These facts were considered as force majeure which prohibited the holding of the match.
The LNFP implements the provisions of the previous circular which prohibits the programming of matches due to the spread of COVID-19 in view of the case of force majeure and following the confinement imposed on the RCA (staff and players).
