Raja de Casablanca announced on Wednesday that it has separated amicably from its Tunisian coach Faouzi Benzarti.
In a press release published on social networks, the club claims to have reached an agreement with Faouzi Benzarti to terminate their contract amicably.
Raja president Aziz Babraoui held “a long meeting” with Benzarti to convince him to give up his decision to leave, but the latter stuck to his guns, the club said.
In the same context, Raja announced that it had terminated the mission of the technical committee composed of Hilal Tayer and Abdelilah Fahmi.
The Casablanca club announced last July that it had signed a contract with Benzarti, who had replaced Rachid Taoussi as coach, dismissed for poor results.
After three days in Botola Pro D1 Inwi, Raja is 11th in the standings, with two points collected from two draws, against one defeat.
