More than 3.1 million dirhams (MDH) were mobilized in 2022 to support the implementation of 47 projects under the social and solidarity economy program (ESS) in the province of Es-Semara.
About 96 beneficiaries have benefited from these projects, which are funded by the Agency for the Promotion and Economic and Social Development of the Southern Provinces of the Kingdom (APDS). This involves the acquisition of equipment for the development of 10 electronic games areas and 9 musical entertainment workshops, the acquisition of equipment for the benefit of 9 wheel balancing workshops and 17 wheel repair, in addition to equipping two beekeeping and honey production units. According to data from the Regional Coordination of the APDS, 670 projects were carried out under the SSE Program during the period between 2010 and 2022 in the province of Es-Semara for the benefit of 2,550 beneficiaries, for a financial cost of approximately 79.52 MDH.
By sector, services come first with 474 projects, followed by agriculture (81), crafts (71), industry (42), in addition to two projects in the tourism sector.
As for the scheduled projects, they concern 91 units for the benefit of 241 beneficiaries, for a financial cost of 11.08 MDH, distributed between 47 projects in the service sector, 17 for crafts, in addition to 11 projects for each of the sectors. agriculture and industry and 5 projects for tourism.
