The painter Houssein Miloudi is no more, H24info

The painter Houssein Miloudi died Thursday in Rabat, at the age of 73, following a long illness, we learned from his relatives.

Born in 1949 in Essaouira, the late Miloudi is one of the great Moroccan painters alongside Ahmed Cherkaoui, Farid Belkahia and Jilali Gharbaoui.

The works of the deceased have entered several prestigious collections, museums, foundations and institutions in Morocco, Europe, the United States and even Japan.

The late Miloudi was decorated in 2004 by King Mohammed VI with the Royal Wissam Al Kafâa Al Fikria (Intellectual Merit).

He appears in several books on art, including the 3rd edition of the book “Who’s who in Graphic Design”, published in Zurich, which brings together the profiles of 300 graphic arts leaders in 46 countries.
