Traveling to Tel Aviv, Morocco’s Chief Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto said prayers for King Mohammed VI in front of thousands of worshipers during a religious celebration.

A few days before Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, thousands of people gathered in Tel Aviv’s Menora Mivtachim Hall to celebrate a “historic event in which the holy Zohar (the masterpiece of Kabbalah) has been done thousands of times.

The Chief Rabbi of Morocco Yoshiyahu Pinto was expected there to give a speech on “the ordinance of the rabbis of the Land of Israel”, reports The Israel National Newsfrom the Israeli media network Arutz Sheva.

Yoshiyahu Pinto, originally from Essaouira, was welcomed as a star in Tel Aviv, as shown in the video below. During his speech, delivered on the night of Tuesday, September 20 in front of thousands of worshipers, the rabbi dedicated part of his prayers to King Mohammed VI.
