Youssef Ahouzi takes over the general management of PortNet SA

Youssef Ahouzi was recently appointed by the Board of Directors of the company, as Managing Director of PortNet SA, the National Single Window for the facilitation of all Moroccan Foreign Trade procedures.

Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Interim Managing Director of PortNet SA, which he joined in 2015 as Director of Information Systems. He also led, in close collaboration with the various actors of the public and private sectors, the establishment and implementation of several strategic projects allowing the acceleration of digitization, the simplification of port procedures and Morocco’s foreign trade. via the PortNet Single Window.

The man who also has a solid expertise in the field of banking systems through his previous experience, of more than 7 years, as team leader, managing the portfolio of “Retail and Corporate” projects, within of the French group BNP Paribas.

Note that Youssef Ahouzi is involved in several technological programs. He is Vice-President of the African Alliance for Electronic Commerce and contributes in several international projects and programs as an expert in e-Gov and digital transformation as well as in the establishment of one-stop shops and community systems.

Also, he was named, during the month of October, leader of transformation technologies by the “Global CIO Forum Committee”. In addition to being a graduate of the Mohammedia School of Engineers as a State Engineer, Youssef has an Executive MBA from the Ecole des Ponts Business School.
